Knoch schools celebrated Read Across America last week. At Knoch Primary School, Principal Dr. Greg Boerio read to students from K-3. Additionally, Dr. Foley was invited to read to Mrs. Garia's third graders, and Mrs. Huden's fourth graders walked up to Knoch Primary to read to Mrs. Roxberry's students.
Meanwhile, at Knoch Intermediate Elementary, Mrs. Lambert's students read Swish, a book about the Harlem Globetrotters, and they participated in a challenge to engineer a functional basketball hoop, using paper towel rolls, cups, cardboard, and tape.
To wrap up the week, Knoch Varsity Football players visited both elementary schools to read to students and to complete a STEM activity with the 4th graders.
